It can be worn as a pin or pendant. The young lady with Mediterranean features wears a Victorian era hairstyle of ringlet sausage curls. The last photo shows a young lady circa 1850. The oval bezel is 1 1/8" by 7/8".
Total weight is 5.5 grams. Significant flaws not depicted in the photos are described here-with, minor flaws and normal wear are not.
